Community Guidelines

1. Be respectful

Treat every creator and user with courtesy. Constructive criticism is welcome, but personal attacks, harassment, and hate speech are not. If you disagree with a listing or a review, engage professionally or report it using the report button.

2. No spam or self-promotion

Reviews exist to help users make informed decisions, not to advertise products. Do not post fake reviews, coordinate review campaigns, or use reviews to promote competing or unrelated services. Listings that exist solely to drive traffic to external sites will be removed.

3. Honest reviews

Only review tools you have actually installed and used. Fabricated experiences, review-swapping arrangements, and paid reviews undermine trust for everyone. We verify install history before displaying reviews. Accounts found gaming this system will be suspended.

4. Security

If you discover a security vulnerability in a listed server or in the marketplace itself, please report it responsibly to security@mcp-marketplace.io before making it public. Do not exploit vulnerabilities for personal gain or use the marketplace to distribute malicious software.

5. Creator responsibilities

Creators are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Keep descriptions, required permissions, and pricing current. Respond to user feedback in good faith. Servers that are abandoned, broken, or materially misrepresent their functionality may be delisted after notice.

6. Enforcement

We review reports and take action proportional to the severity of the violation. Consequences range from content removal to permanent account suspension. We aim to be transparent about enforcement decisions and will notify affected parties where possible.
