For Creators

Build tools for AI. Reach thousands of users.

MCP Marketplace is where developers publish, distribute, and monetize MCP servers. Build your tool, submit it, and let the marketplace handle discovery, payments, and trust.

Why publish on MCP Marketplace?

Curated Discovery

Your MCP server isn't buried in a GitHub search. It's listed in a curated, searchable marketplace where users come specifically looking for MCP servers.

Built-in Payments

Set a price, choose one-time or subscription. We handle Stripe checkout, license keys, and payouts. Zero payment integration on your end.

Adaptive Security Scanning

Every submission goes through our multi-layer security scan that improves with every server reviewed. A visible security score builds user trust and helps your tool stand out.

Analytics Dashboard

Track installs, revenue, reviews, and license keys from your creator dashboard. See what's working and what to improve.

From code to customers in 3 steps

1

Build your MCP server

Write your server using the MCP SDK in TypeScript, Python, or any supported language. If it follows the MCP protocol, it works here.

2

Submit for review

Fill out the listing form with your server's details, set your pricing (free or paid), and submit. Our security scan runs instantly.

3

Get listed and start earning

Once approved, your server goes live on the marketplace. Users discover, install, and pay for your tool. You track everything from your dashboard.

Common questions

What is the MCP protocol?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants connect to external tools and data sources. It's supported by Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, and more. MCP servers follow this protocol to expose capabilities to any compatible AI client.

What languages can I build with?

TypeScript and Python have official MCP SDKs. Community SDKs cover Go, Rust, Java, C#, and more. As long as your server speaks the MCP protocol, it works on the marketplace.

How do I get paid?

You connect your Stripe account during onboarding. When users purchase your server, payments are processed and deposited to your account automatically. Read our guides on monetization models and free vs pro pricing.

What does the review process look like?

Submit your server and our automated security scan runs immediately, checking protocol compliance, code safety, and dependencies. Most servers are approved within minutes. If anything needs attention, you get a detailed report explaining what to fix.

Can I list free servers?

Absolutely. Free and open-source servers are welcome. Many of the most popular tools on the marketplace are free. You can also offer a free tier alongside a paid pro version.

Do I need to host anything?

It depends on the type. Local MCP servers run on the user's machine: you publish a package and users install it. No cloud infrastructure needed. Remote MCP servers are hosted by you and users connect via a URL. Remote servers are great for premium tools since users never get your source code. Both types are fully supported. See our remote server guide for deployment options.
