The Trends MCP stdio adapter is a small, readable wrapper that forwards three read-only tool calls to the vendor's own HTTPS API using a Bearer key read from the TRENDSMCP_API_KEY environment variable. No shell execution, filesystem access, hardcoded secrets, or data exfiltration patterns were found, and the only permissions used (outbound HTTP and env var access) match the server's purpose as a trend data client.
