CitedSpy is an AI visibility and citation analytics platform that tracks how major AI assistants like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, and Grok describe your brand versus competitors, giving you a live “AI search” view of your market. It runs curated prompt sets across multiple engines, then measures share of voice, sentiment, citations, and trends so teams can see where they’re winning or losing attention in AI‑generated recommendations.
The CitedSpy MCP server exposes your CitedSpy workspace directly to MCP‑compatible clients (Claude, Cursor, Codex, and others), so AI tools can read brands, prompts, runs, citations, dashboards, and analytics without manual copy‑paste. Once connected with an API key, your assistant can list and inspect brands, prompts, engines, citations, mentions, and dashboards; create, update, and delete tracking prompts; trigger fresh runs across engines; and pull visibility reports straight into ongoing chats and automations.
CitedSpy is built for marketing, growth, and analytics teams who want repeatable, measurable AI visibility: you get AI visibility scores, competitor comparisons, and actionable recommendations that can be automated into your workflows via MCP instead of static one‑off reports. The MCP integration is remote‑server based and secured by your CitedSpy API key, so you can grant or revoke access per client and keep your implementation private while still giving AI tools rich observability into your brand’s presence in AI search.
