Conqueror

Find the keywords worth winning, then win them: research a keyword, hand it to the agent, and get a ready-to-review draft in your WordPress. You approve the change; nothing goes live before that.

Built on OpenSEO (MIT), an open-source SEO platform with keyword research, rank tracking, site audits, and an MCP server for AI agents. Conqueror adds the WordPress "Conquer" flow on top.

How it works

  1. Research — keyword research backed by DataForSEO.
  2. Conquer — the SAM agent turns a keyword into an article draft.
  3. Approve & publish — the draft lands in your connected WordPress site. You review it and approve; publishing only ever follows your approval.

Development

New to the project? Start with docs/ONBOARDING.md — running app plus the Conquer loop in about fifteen minutes. Requires Node 22.18+ and pnpm.

Secrets are managed with Phase: run phase auth once, and pnpm dev injects everything the app needs — no .env file to fill in by hand. Without Phase it falls back to .env.local, which is how self-hosting works.

DocWhat it covers
ONBOARDING.mdDay one: access to request, setup, the Conquer test loop
PRODUCT.mdWhat we're building, the north star, the trust boundary
ARCHITECTURE.mdCode map: request path, two DB dialects, agents, deploys
CONTRIBUTING.mdBranches, migrations, review, conventions
LOCAL_DEVELOPMENT.mdDev server, database commands, auth modes
PREVIEW_DEPLOYMENTS.mdPreviews, staging, production, migration safety
CONQUER_POC.mdEvery file the Conquer flow touches
LOCAL_POSTGRES.mdRunning the Postgres path locally (optional)
DATAFORSEO_API_KEY.mdGetting and setting the keyword-data key
SELF_HOSTING_CLOUDFLARE.mdSelf-hosting on Cloudflare (also _MANUAL, _OPERATIONS)
SELF_HOSTING_DOCKER.mdSelf-hosting with Docker
MAINTAINERS.mdRelease notes workflow

A local WordPress target for testing lives in dev/wordpress/ (Docker).

Deployment

Deploys run on Cloudflare Workers via Alchemy, with Postgres on Neon:

  • Production — copy .env.production.example.env.production, then pnpm deploy:postgres
  • Staging — copy .env.staging.example.env.staging, then pnpm deploy:staging
  • PR previews — deployed automatically per pull request behind a Cloudflare Access gate (see .github/workflows/pr-preview.yml)

Full model: docs/PREVIEW_DEPLOYMENTS.md
