F1Laps MCP

F1Laps records and analyzes laps from the official F1 games. The F1Laps MCP connects a F1Laps account to ChatGPT, Claude, and other compatible assistants, so they can answer questions using the laps and sessions saved in that account.

The hosted server address is:

https://www.f1laps.com/mcp

The connection is read-only. It cannot edit or delete laps, sessions, seasons, or setups.

What you can ask

The F1Laps MCP can help an assistant:

  • Find recent, fastest, or telemetry-enabled laps.
  • Summarize best times and progress by track across supported F1 game years.
  • Compare a lap with a personal best, session best, selected lap, or the fastest eligible public leaderboard lap.
  • Review sector and driving-data differences when accessible telemetry is available.
  • Compare a saved setup with relevant community results and common setup ranges.
  • Estimate an AI difficulty from a lap time.

Example questions:

  • "Compare my latest Monaco lap with my personal best."
  • "Compare my fastest Silverstone lap with the fastest public leaderboard lap."
  • "Show my best time at each track and where I improved this month."
  • "Compare my setup with the community range for this track."

Connect the F1Laps MCP

Follow the F1Laps MCP connection guide for current ChatGPT and Claude steps.

In any compatible client:

  1. Add a custom MCP server or connector.
  2. Enter https://www.f1laps.com/mcp exactly, without a trailing slash.
  3. Sign in on the F1Laps screen.
  4. Review and approve read-only access.

You do not need a separate API key or client secret. Never paste your F1Laps password or an access token into an assistant.

Account access

Every registered F1Laps account can use lap and session summaries, progress statistics, community setups, and the AI Difficulty Calculator through the F1Laps MCP.

Detailed telemetry needs a Champion plan, an active Champion trial, or eligible legacy access. Summary and setup features remain available without detailed telemetry.
