This MCP server implements an AI visibility audit tool with reasonable purpose-aligned permissions (network_http, env_vars, subprocess for API calls). However, there are several security concerns: (1) subprocess calls execute shell commands without validation or quoting, creating injection risks; (2) API credentials are loaded from a shared user secrets file without proper isolation; (3) external service calls (Monid, Perplexity, OpenAI proxies) could leak sensitive request data; (4) the license system uses weak validation (string prefix check only) and stores quota state in plaintext JSON. While not malicious, these issues expose the server to credential leakage and command injection. Supply chain analysis found 5 known vulnerabilities in dependencies (1 critical, 3 high severity).

No credentials are required to start the server (introspection works). Credentials (MONID_API_KEY, SERPER_API_KEY, GROK_API_KEY, PERPLEXITY_API_KEY) are only needed at call time — the tool returns a clear error if they are missing.
