HProxy MCP server

A free proxy list, a live proxy checker and an IP lookup for AI assistants, hosted by HProxy at one address. No key, no account, nothing to install.

It speaks MCP over Streamable HTTP and is listed in the official MCP Registry as com.hproxy/mcp.

Add it to your assistant

Claude Code. In a terminal:

The tools

All three only read. None of them needs a key.

Things to ask

• "Give me twenty elite German SOCKS5 proxies and check which are alive."
• "Find five fast US HTTP proxies, test them, and give me only the working ones."
• "Who runs the network behind 8.8.8.8, and where is it?"

Good to know

• These are public free proxies. Expect fewer than half to answer at any moment, set short timeouts, and never send passwords or personal data through one.
• Limits are per IP address. The checker allows roughly twelve checks a minute with bursts of ten, because every check opens a real connection. Past a limit, the tool says how many seconds to wait.
• For proxies that must hold up against real blocking, HProxy's paid proxies are at hproxy.com/pricing.
