Security Report

2.0
Use Caution2.0Critical Risk

The dashboard binds to localhost but sends Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * and exposes unauthenticated POST endpoints (/api/update, /api/scan) that run shell commands built from request-supplied package names, so any web page the user visits could trigger package modifications. The supervisor also auto-downloads and executes newer npm releases without user confirmation, and several referenced modules (update-notice, services, tools) were not provided, so their behavior could not be verified. Permissions largely match a dependency-management tool, but the unauthenticated local API and unreviewed command construction push the score below 7.0. Supply chain analysis found 6 known vulnerabilities in dependencies (0 critical, 4 high severity).
