About
CurlShot is a screenshot API with a hosted MCP server, so AI agents can capture and see any web page. Point your MCP client at https://curlshot.com/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP, API key auth via a Bearer header) and the agent gets two tools: take_screenshot and list_devices.
take_screenshot renders a URL, HTML or Markdown in a real browser and returns a PNG, JPEG, WebP, PDF or scrolling video. It handles full pages (lazy images loaded), phone/tablet/desktop presets, dark mode, single elements by CSS selector, and removes cookie banners, ads and chat bubbles before the capture on most sites. Models that read images see the page itself.
Who it is for: developers building agents that need to check a page visually, QA and monitoring workflows, link previews and OG images, and archiving pages as PDF.
Pricing: free plan with 100 screenshots a month and no card; paid plans from $19/month. Failed renders and cache hits are not counted. Get an API key at https://curlshot.com/register.
