Security scores are indicators to help you make informed decisions, not guarantees. Always review permissions before connecting any MCP server.

Remote servers are capped at 8.0 because source code is not available for review. The score reflects endpoint verification only.

How to Connect

Remote Plugin

No local installation needed. Your AI client connects to the remote endpoint directly.

Add this to your MCP configuration to connect:

agentshop — cross-country economic reports over MCP and x402

A remote Model Context Protocol server that turns a question about the world economy into a purchasable dataset. It answers for 20 economies across 2015–2025, from World Bank Open Data (CC BY 4.0, attributed in every document), and is sold per fetch in USDC on Base using the x402 payment protocol.

No account. No API key. No signup. No subscription.

Tools

Six tools are exposed. The free ones answer immediately; the paid ones return an exact quote rather than an error, because a runtime that cannot see the price cannot decide to pay it.

ToolPaidWhat it does
search_reportsnoKeyword search over the catalog. Returns matching report ids with price, indicators, economies and a free preview URL.
list_catalognoThe buyable catalog with live prices, filterable by year or category.
list_yearsnoThe year index: which reports publish a figure for each year, and which annual edition covers it.
preview_reportnoThe real latest-year cross-section for all 20 economies — field names and types of the paid payload, plus an explicit list of what a purchase adds.
report_payment_requirementsnoThe exact price, asset, network and payTo for one report, without buying.
buy_reportyesThe full report. Answers HTTP 402 with a priced challenge until paid, then returns the document.

Try it before you spend anything

# 1. Which report covers inflation?
curl -s 'https://reportbazaar.app.workbuddy.host/search?q=inflation' | jq '.results[].id'

# 2. Look at the real data for that report - free, no wallet.
curl -s 'https://reportbazaar.app.workbuddy.host/preview/macro-inflation?format=md'

# 3. See what it costs. This is the 402.
curl -sD - -o /dev/null 'https://reportbazaar.app.workbuddy.host/report/macro-inflation' | grep -i payment-required

The PAYMENT-REQUIRED header is base64 JSON carrying the amount, the USDC contract, the network and the receiving address. Sign the transfer (EIP-3009 on Base mainnet, so the buyer needs no ETH), replay the same request with the signature, and the report comes back.

Client configuration

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "agentshop": {
      "type": "streamable-http",
      "url": "https://reportbazaar.app.workbuddy.host/mcp"
    }
  }
}

The free tools work with no configuration at all. Paying requires an x402-capable client — any wallet that can sign EIP-3009 USDC transfers on Base works, and there is no ETH gas requirement.

What a report contains

  • The year-by-year panel — every economy × every year in the coverage window.
  • Per-economy derived analytics — CAGR, fitted trend, momentum, volatility, outlier years.
  • Group statistics — mean, median, dispersion, HHI concentration, leader and laggard.
  • A data-quality block — requested vs actually published cells, and which years are missing upstream. It tells you what is not there, which is rarer and more useful than the reverse.
  • Cross-indicator correlation where the report covers more than one indicator.

Other machine-readable doors

Everything an agent needs is free except the documents themselves:

/openapi.json (OpenAPI 3.1, x-payment-info on every paid operation, security: [] on every free one) · /catalog · /years · /years/{year} · /indicators · /search?q= · /schema/report.json · /preview/{id}?format=json|csv|md · /.well-known/x402 · /.well-known/agent.json (A2A card) · /.well-known/mcp.json · /.well-known/ai-plugin.json · /llms.txt · /llms-full.txt · /sitemap.xml · /purchases (the settlement ledger)

Repository contents

FilePurpose
server.jsonRegistry manifest for the official MCP Registry. Remote-only: one remotes[] entry, no package.
mcp.jsonThe service's own MCP descriptor, as served at /.well-known/mcp.json.
README.mdThis file.

The server itself runs at the endpoint above; this repository carries the manifest and the documentation, which is all the registry stores.

Notes

  • Prices are re-quoted on every request. Always pay the amount in the 402 you just received rather than a cached one.
  • Settlement is verifiable. Every delivered document corresponds to a USDC transfer to 0xba7efeabfab91a6febc8d8088faa29ce95979b34 on Base, and the ledger is public at /purchases.
  • Upstream figures may be revised by the World Bank; reports record their generation date.
