Security Report

5.2
Moderate5.2Moderate Risk

This is a read-only MCP server that queries the public OpenWaters AIS API for Japanese port vessel traffic, with no credentials or shell, file, or process access. The main issues are code quality and robustness: a malformed Hiroshima bounding box, unvalidated MMSI values interpolated into URL paths, and minor redundancy. Network access to ais.openwaters.io matches the server's purpose. Supply chain analysis found 7 known vulnerabilities in dependencies (1 critical, 4 high severity).

Security scores are indicators to help you make informed decisions, not guarantees. Always review permissions before connecting any MCP server.
