The server is a legitimate J-Quants TSE market-data client. It requires a JQUANTS_API_KEY from the environment, sends it only to api.jquants.com, and has no exfiltration, shell execution, or hardcoded secrets. The main issues are code-quality and input-handling weaknesses: user-supplied codes and dates are concatenated into request URLs without encoding, the calendar month rollover is broken for December, and there are broad exception handlers, with no finding severe enough to lower the score below 7.0. Supply chain analysis found 7 known vulnerabilities in dependencies (1 critical, 4 high severity).
