Five official-open-data tools for AI agents, in one MCP server. Ask your agent about car recalls (US NHTSA and EU Safety Gate), the best and worst model years of a car, UK MOT failure rates, EU car specifications (engine, kW/hp, WLTP CO2, fuel consumption), or Cyprus company status, EU VAT number validation (VIES) and LEI lookup. Built and maintained by Car Helper Tools and served through Apify's hosted MCP server, so there's nothing to install.

Transport: Streamable HTTP. Auth: OAuth (sign in to Apify in your browser) or an Apify API token as Authorization: Bearer <APIFY_TOKEN>. Agents without an Apify account can pay per call through Apify's agentic payments (all five tools are pay-per-event).

Data, licences and limits

All five tools use official open data only and return no personal data.

• NHTSA recalls, complaints and NCAP ratings are US government data and cover US-market vehicles.
• EU Safety Gate alerts are published by the European Commission and don't include every manufacturer recall. Confirm with a dealer using the VIN.
• DVSA MOT statistics are © Crown copyright and published under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
• The EEA CO2 monitoring data is published under CC BY 4.0. The 2025 figures are provisional.
• Cyprus register data comes from data.gov.cy under CC BY 4.0. VIES results are live from the European Commission, and LEI data comes from GLEIF (CC0).
