An API key is always required (even on the free plan — this protects the endpoint from bots). Create a free account and a key in under a minute; the free allowance is generous enough to build and run real agent workflows.

• Market data — real-time tickers, orderbooks, spot/perpetual/funding arbitrage opportunities, funding rate history (360 days), funding spread regime-shift detection, delivery/basis (cash-and-carry) analytics, news.
• Portfolio — your connected exchange balances, positions, daily P&L, transactions, funding predictions.
• Trading — place_order, close_position, set_sl_tp, get_open_orders (Binance futures, BingX spot, Bybit linear) — executes only through your own connected exchange API keys and real trading agents.
• Hedge engine — open/close hedged funding-arbitrage positions, monitor threat level, analyze basis regimes.

All data is first-party: our own aggregator pipeline, blockchain RPCs and official exchange APIs. No competitor aggregators (CoinMarketCap, CoinGecko, DefiLlama) are used.

Getting a key

1. Create an account at coincryptorank.com (free plan is enough to start — 200 calls/day).
2. Open Profile → Integrations → MCP (or directly https://coincryptorank.com/profile/integrations/) and create an API key. The key starts with ccr_ and is shown only once — store it safely.
3. Keys are revocable at any time; each key is scoped to your account — market data is shared, portfolio/trading tools only ever touch your own connected exchanges.

The server speaks the MCP protocol over HTTP (JSON-RPC 2.0, initialize / tools/list / tools/call). No SDK or local runtime is needed.

Security

• Bearer-key authentication for all calls; only the SHA-256 hash of your key is stored. No anonymous access.
• Per-account isolation: portfolio, positions, orders and hedge positions are scoped to the key owner (IDOR-protected).
• Trading requires your own connected exchange API keys and never touches other users' data.
• Daily limits per plan (200–20,000) + per-minute rate limits (30–120).
