Tools

Read-only, structured output plus short text, data producer credited on every answer.

• search_networks(query): network ids for a city, area or name, plus unsupported matches and why.
• nearby_stations(network_id, lat, lon, limit?, need?: bikes|docks, max_distance_meters?): nearest stations with bikes, e-bikes, free docks.
• get_station(network_id, station_id): one station's live status.

Coverage

Docked networks with an open licence (Licence Ouverte, ODbL) and a GBFS 1.x-3.0 feed. Free-floating, scooters, car sharing and unlicensed datasets are not served.

Design

apps/mcp (stdio) calls packages/gbfs-core, which has no Node imports (Hermes-safe, for a future Expo app):

• Facade facade.ts: three calls hiding catalog, versions, feed join, cache and errors.
• Adapter feeds/v2.ts, v3.ts: one per GBFS version, same records out.
• Cache-Aside + single-flight feed-loader.ts: clamped ttl, stale-if-error 10 min, LRU 64.
• Result type: { ok: false, error } instead of throwing.
