Szamlazz.hu MCP
Hungarian sole-trader invoicing automation via the Szamlazz.hu Agent API. Issue invoices, track annual revenue against the 20M HUF VAT ceiling, and never miss a quarterly eloleg payment date.

Setup
- Log in to Szamlazz.hu.
- Go to Settings > Integrations > API and copy your Agent API key.
- In Apify, open this Actor's Input tab and set
SZAMLAZZ_API_KEY. Or pass it as an environment variable in your MCP client configuration.
The key is stored encrypted at rest by Apify. It is never logged or proxied.
Hungarian defaults
- Alanyi afa-mentes (AAM) VAT template is the default for all line items — correct for sole traders under the HUF 20M annual ceiling.
- Reverse-charge VAT (FAD / forditott adozas) is the default for B2B EU
invoices (
reverse_charge_vat=True). This matches the standard pattern for invoicing Apify, Lemon Squeezy, and similar EU-registered platforms. project_annual_revenueflags a warning at HUF 18M (90% of ceiling) — time to talk to your accountant before the next invoice pushes you over.- Tax number validation enforces the Hungarian format:
12345678-1-23.
Security note
This Actor uses a bring-your-own-key model. Your Szamlazz.hu API key is supplied by you at runtime — it is never stored in Actor source code, never proxied through Unbearable TechTips infrastructure, and never included in error messages or logs. Apify encrypts Actor input at rest.
Test mode
Run set_test_mode(true) before calling issue_invoice in development.
Szamlazz.hu's test environment creates invoices with a TESZT prefix, re-routes
the recipient email to your account settings email, and caps at 100 invoices/hour.
No real invoices are created and no NAV reports are sent.
