Requirements
- A MachineTranslation.com account
- An active paid plan with credits, including:
- Pro
- Limited-time access (1-day, 3-day, or 5-day)
- Legacy starter / advanced (still supported if the subscription is active; no longer sold on the pricing page)
- Enough credits (minimum 30 per
smart_translatecall) - Verified email
Free accounts cannot connect. Credits are debited from your wallet on each successful SMART translation.
Quick start (Claude / ChatGPT Connectors)
- Open Settings → Connectors (Claude) or your ChatGPT connectors / apps flow.
- Add custom connector / MCP server.
- URL:
https://www.machinetranslation.com/mcp - Leave OAuth Client ID and Secret empty (dynamic registration).
- Click Connect → sign in (email, Google, Facebook, or Apple) → Authorize.
- Start a new chat and ask for a translation.
