Email inboxes for AI agents that send only to owner-approved recipients

About

Voidmail gives an AI agent its own @voidmail.ai inbox. The agent can list, read and search incoming mail as structured data, for example to receive a verification code, and it can send mail only to recipients the human owner has approved. The Voidly API enforces that allowlist, so it does not depend on prompts. Signing up needs no phone number and no CAPTCHA.

Two keys: the agent key runs the inbox; the owner key, kept away from the agent, approves recipients from an owner-only terminal or https://voidly.ai/agent-mail/owner.

Ways to use it: - Local: npx -y @voidly/mcp-email (npm 1.2.1, 19 tools). The first run creates the inbox. - Hosted: https://api.voidly.ai/mcp/mail (Streamable HTTP); inbox actions need the agent key.

Limits: inboxes are readable by the server; they are not end-to-end encrypted. Sending has per-mailbox, per-IP and shared service limits (for example 10 sends per minute and 100 per day per mailbox). It is not a bulk-mail service.

Open source: MIT. Built by Voidly.

Security Report

6.8
Moderate6.8Moderate Risk

The @voidly/mcp-email MCP server demonstrates strong security architecture with careful credential separation, proper key management, and comprehensive input validation. The codebase enforces clear boundaries between agent and owner credentials, implements key redaction at the transport layer, and includes well-documented warnings about proper key storage. A few minor code quality observations exist around error handling verbosity and dependency scope, but these do not materially impact security. Supply chain analysis found 1 known vulnerability in dependencies (0 critical, 1 high severity). Package verification found 1 issue.
